Minutes of Commission meeting held on October 24, 2006.

Present: Mary vandenBerg, Chairperson, Steven Anderstrom, Patricia Caron, Howard Fife, Rolf Hilbig, Kathleen McGrory and James Wettlaufer.
7:00 p.m. Chairperson called the meeting to order.
7:05 p.m. Minutes of Commission Meeting held on October 17, 2006 were read, accepted and will be distributed.
7:10 p.m. We received from Kristin LaPlante, Town Clerk, a memorandum that stated Mary Kathleen McGrory is appointed to the Holland Conservation Commission as an Associate Member with term to expire June 20, 2007.
Mary vandenBerg reported; while in her boat on the North Lake, saw Robert Braun on Island Rd. scraping the lake bottom with heavy machinery. She instructed him to cease and to call Agent Howard Fife. Following discussion, motion was made that a letter be sent to Mr. Braun requesting that he appear before the HCC on 11-14-06. Approved by all.
7:50 p.m. Mark Farrell of Green Hill Engineering presented Vicky Stavola’s Public Hearing continuation for a Request for Determination of Applicability for the repair of a septic system at 2 Leisure Dr. No abutters came. The two drains that are on either side of the proposed septic system were discussed. The hearing was again continued until the plan can be updated to include the replacement of the 2 catch basins with a sump that will need to be cleaned annually and then reported to the HCC.
Motion to adjourn was made, seconded and approved by all. Meeting adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
